flatexDEGIRO AG: Market dynamics drive record quarter, full-year forecast unchanged

flatexDEGIRO AG (the "Company") announces preliminary results for the first quarter of 2025. Exceptionally volatile equity markets in the first months of 2025 have led to a significant increase in trading activity by retail investors and a significant inflow of additional funds on flatexDEGIRO's trading platforms.

Based on preliminary figures, this results in an increase in Revenues of 19 percent to EUR 146 million for the first quarter of 2025 (Q1 2024: EUR 123 million), which is 8 percent above current analyst estimates* of EUR 135 million.

Net Income rose by 40 percent to EUR 42 million in the first quarter of 2025 (Q1 2024: EUR 30 million). This is 18 percent higher than the current analyst estimates* of EUR 36 million.

Due to considerable uncertainty regarding further market developments over the course of the year, the Company's Management Board is sticking to the forecast for the full year 2025 issued in February 2025 despite the strong start to the year. Compared to the record figures of the previous year, the forecast assumes a change in Revenues of -5 percent to +5 percent and a change in Net Income of -5 percent to +10 percent. Analysts currently estimate* an average increase in Revenues of 4 percent and an increase in Net Income of 14 percent in 2025.

*Basis: company-compiled consensus as of April 24, 2025. The consensus is calculated from the arithmetic average of the estimates of the individual analysts and is based on the estimates of 11 of a total of 12 analysts covering flatexDEGIRO AG.
