September 2022 // Der Vorstand der ABOUT YOU Holding SE („ABOUT YOU“ oder „Gesellschaft“), eine der am schnellsten waschsenden digitalen Modeplattformen Europas, hat heute um 17:30 Uhr (MESZ) entschieden, die Prognose für das laufende Geschäftsjahr anzupassen, nachdem eine sinkende Verbraucherstimmung und Verschlechterung von makroökonomischen Faktoren weiter die Umsatz- und Ergebnisentwicklung beeinflussen. Dies geschieht auch auf Basis der vorläufigen Finanzkennzahlen des ersten Halbjahres 2022/2023, deren prüferische Durchsicht noch andauert. Der Vorstand geht nicht mehr davon aus, dass sich das makroökonomische Umfeld kurzfristig erholen wird. Zudem waren sowohl die Umsatzentwicklung im zweiten Quartal 2022/2023, mit einem vorläufigen Umsatz von 415 Mio. EUR bis 445 Mio. EUR (+4,9% bis +12,5% zum Vorjahr), als auch das bereinigte EBITDA1 von vorläufig -55 Mio. EUR bis -40 Mio. EUR (Marge -13,3% bis -9,0%) schwächer als erwartet. Dieses Ergebnis wirkt sich auch auf die Umsatzerwartungen für die zweite Hälfte des laufenden Geschäftsjahres aus. Eine Kompensierung dieser Effekte im laufenden Geschäftsjahr wird nicht erwartet. Aus dem Grund passt der Vorstand seine Prognose für das laufende Geschäftsjahr wie folgt an: Der Vorstand erwartet nunmehr für die ABOUT YOU Gruppe einen Umsatz in der Spanne von 1.905 Mio. EUR bis 2.078 Mio. EUR (+10% bis +20% zum Vorjahr) (bislang 2.165 Mio. EUR bis 2.338 Mio. EUR (+25% bis +35% zum Vorjahr)) und ein bereinigtes EBITDA1 von voraussichtlich -140 Mio. EUR bis -120 Mio. EUR (Marge -7,3% bis -5,8%) (bislang -70 Mio. EUR bis -50 Mio. EUR (Marge -3,2% bis -2,1%)). Die weiteren Finanzkennzahlen zum Gesamtinvestitionsaufwand und Nettoumlaufvermögen bleiben – wie in der Pressemitteilung vom 24. Mai 2022 kommuniziert – unverändert. Trotz der derzeitigen Herausforderungen wird das Ziel bestätigt, im Geschäftsjahr 2023/2024 den bereinigten EBITDA Break-even auf Konzernebene zu erreichen. Die Ergebnisse für das 1. Halbjahr 2022/2023 veröffentlicht ABOUT YOU wie geplant am 11. Oktober 2022.
