EQS-Ad-hoc: init innovation in traffic systems SE / Key word(s): Change in Forecast/Contract Revenue forecast for the 2025 financial year: EUR 340–370 million (previous forecast: EUR 300–330 million) EBIT forecast for the 2025 financial year: EUR 32–35 million (previous forecast: EUR 30–33 million) The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) Board of Directors in Atlanta, Georgia/US has allocated additional funds to the AFC 2.0 project commissioned in 2024 to INIT Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of init SE. The additional USD 60 million will support the project’s construction phase after approval of software and hardware design elements. init SE therefore expects significantly higher revenue than originally planned for the 2025 financial year. The majority of the additional project volume relates to construction services provided by third parties that are merely supervised by init. Consequently, the expansion is expected to have only a limited impact on earnings. In light of these developments, the company has revised its forecast for the current financial year, and now expecting revenue of between EUR 340 and 370 million and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of between EUR 32 and 35 million.
