Continental gibt vorläufige Kennzahlen für das zweite Quartal 2022 bekannt

DGAP-Ad-hoc: Continental AG / Schlagwort(e): Quartalsergebnis Basierend auf vorläufigen und ungeprüften Zahlen stellen sich die wichtigsten Finanzkennzahlen des zweiten Quartals des Geschäftsjahres 2022 wie folgt dar:
Darüber hinaus hat das Unternehmen im Unternehmensbereich Automotive Wertminderungen auf Goodwill und Sachanlagen in Höhe von 370 Millionen Euro vorgenommen. Diese nicht zahlungswirksamen Wertminderungen resultieren hauptsächlich aus der Anpassung buchhalterischer Bewertungsparameter. Das gestiegene Zinsniveau führte zur Erhöhung des Diskontierungssatzes (Vorsteuer-WACC), der für den Goodwill-Impairmenttest verwendet wurde. Dieser belief sich zum Ende des zweiten Quartals auf 12,8 %, nach 10,7 % zum 31. Dezember 2021. Im Zusammenhang mit unserer Geschäftstätigkeit in Russland wurden zudem Vermögenswerte in Höhe von 75 Millionen Euro aufgrund der zusätzlich verhängten Sanktionen wertberichtigt. Dies betrifft im Wesentlichen den Unternehmensbereich Tires. Der Unternehmensbereich ContiTech verzeichnete Restrukturierungsaufwendungen in Höhe von 63 Millionen Euro, im Wesentlichen für den Geschäftsbereich Mobile Fluid Systems. Der Continental-Konzern bestätigt seinen Ausblick für das Gesamtjahr 2022, veröffentlicht am 11. Mai 2022. Der Halbjahresfinanzbericht für das erste Halbjahr 2022 wird am 9. August 2022 veröffentlicht. „EBIT bereinigt“, „Free Cashflow bereinigt“ und „WACC“ entsprechen der jeweiligen Definition im Glossar der finanzwirtschaftlichen Begriffe des Geschäftsberichts 2021 auf Seite 24/25, der unter www.continental-ir.de abrufbar ist.
