Wer bei 20 Minuten und 20 minutes Artikel aktiv kommentieren oder Kommentare bewerten möchte, muss sich ab sofort einloggen. Zürich, 19. August 2021 - Nach ersten erfolgreichen Tests können ab sofort die Artikel bei 20 Minuten und 20 minutes sowohl in der App als auch online ausschliesslich mit Login kommentiert werden. Die Einführung der Login-Pflicht für Kommentare hat zum Ziel, einen angeregten Austausch zwischen den Kommentarschreibenden in anständiger Tonalität zu ermöglichen. Gaudenz Looser, Chefredaktor 20 Minuten: «Mit der Einführung einer Login-Pflicht wollen wir einen aktiven Beitrag zum Kampf gegen den Hass im Netz leisten. Wir stellten in den letzten zwei Jahren - mutmasslich befeuert durch die aufgrund der Corona-Situation allgemeine Unzufriedenheit - eine zunehmende Anzahl Hasskommentare fest. Diesen Trollen wollen wir keine Plattform bieten.» Marcel Kohler, Geschäftsführer 20 Minuten: «Wir investieren viel in die journalistische Qualität. So engagiert sich unser 20-köpfiges Social Responsibility Board für die Verwendung einer nicht verletzenden Sprache und kooperiert dafür auch mit externen Organisationen.
