Sonderabschreibungen belasten das Ergebnis (EBIT) des Geschäftsjahres 2023; Bestätigung und Konkretisierung der Ergebnisprognose (EBITDA)

EQS-Ad-hoc: Lenzing AG / Schlagwort(e): Jahresergebnis Lenzing – Die jährliche Evaluierung der Bewertung von Vermögenswerten gemäß IFRS der gesamten Lenzing Gruppe sowohl national in Österreich als auch international hat einen Wertminderungsbedarf ergeben, der zu Sonderabschreibungen in Höhe von bis zu EUR 480 Millionen für das Geschäftsjahr 2023 führt.[1] Gründe für den Wertminderungsbedarf sind einerseits weiterhin bestehende Unsicherheiten im wirtschaftlichen Umfeld und andererseits nach wie vor erhöhte Rohstoff- und Energiekosten sowie erhöhte Diskontierungssätze durch das geänderte Zinsumfeld. Die Sonderabschreibungen sind nicht zahlungswirksam und haben keine Auswirkungen auf das Gesamtjahres-EBITDA 2023, wirken jedoch auf das EBIT für das Geschäftsjahr 2023. Für das Geschäftsjahr 2023 konkretisiert der Vorstand die bisherige Ergebnisprognose (EBITDA: EUR 270 – 330 Millionen) und erwartet ein EBITDA von rund EUR 300 Millionen.
