STOCKHOLM, Aug. 20, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Skanska has signed a contract with an existing client to build a data center in Arizona, USA. The contract is worth USD 153M, about SEK 1.6 billion, which will be included in the US order bookings for the third quarter of 2024.
The project consists of a single-story data center, totalling approximately 23,200 square meters (250,000 square feet).
Work is underway and is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2025.

STOCKHOLM, Aug. 15, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Skanska has signed a contract with Medpace, a clinical research company, for the construction of a new office building in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. The contract is worth USD 164M, about SEK 1.7 billion, which will be included in the US order bookings for the third quarter 2024.
The project involves constructing a new 52,200 square meter (562,000-SF), nine-story building featuring a six-story office tower atop a three-floor parking garage and conference center. The office building will be built on the existing Medpace campus, where Skanska has successfully completed several projects.
STOCKHOLM, Aug. 13, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Skanska has signed a long-term lease agreement with a global advertising technology firm for approximately 4,400 square meters plus 2,000 square meters for parking at the office building The Eight in Bellevue, Washington, USA. With this contract, 82 percent of the space is now leased. The tenant is expected to take occupancy beginning the second quarter of 2025.
This is the second office lease at the 67,800 square meter Class A+ office tower located in downtown Bellevue. Skanska previously announced the firm's largest single lease for 48,900 square meters, of which 14,150 square meters accounted for parking.
STOCKHOLM, Aug. 9, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Skanska has received a supplemental award with an existing client to build a data center in Georgia, USA. The supplemental award is worth USD 203M, about SEK 2.1 billion, which will be included in the US order bookings for the third quarter of 2024.
The project includes the construction of a 244,090 square-foot data center, associated site work, and underground utilities. The scope also includes fitout of an administration space and five data halls.
Work is underway and is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2026.
