Who we are looking for

  • Knowledge of network programming.
  • TCP/IP implementations, to build interface connectivity with external counterparties. After intensive training to become familiar with our operations, you will be asked to build and take ownership of our FIX Engine, to link our Risk Model to external brokers. You will also take on responsibility in the Risk Model architecture to improve its features/efficiency.

Knowledge of OO-programming and database servers is required. We use MS SQL Servers technologies. Knowledge of the FIX protocol is not required but you must be familiar with APIs documentation in general. FIX specs are usually provided in XML format, and are parsed at runtime.

This role offers an unrivalled exposure to algorithmic trading and automatic execution.

Technical skills

  • Degree in computer science, or ability to prove and demonstrate that you have extensive experience in been building complex and functional computer programs in the recent past.
  • OOP – We use C++ but you can also demonstrate high level of expertise in another object-oriented programming language.
  • SQL –experience with connecting programs to database servers
  • Knowledge of common database transactions such as SELECT/UPDATE/INSERT/CREATE/ALTER/etc..
  • Practical knowledge of SQL implementations of Stored Procedures and Functions,
  • knowledge of common practices for indexing and managing/optimizing transactions' speed.
  • Previous experience with network connections, such as TCP/IP.
  • Familiar with sending/receiving packets, managing their size, preventing overflow and/or loss of packetsServer/Client architecture systems
  • Previous experience in building multithreaded systems would be good but not essential
  • Respond quickly to evolving requirements and complete all work by published deadlines
  • Clean and documented code.

ayondo Group is a dual FCA/BaFin regulated innovative provider of social trading, CFD and spread bet execution services.  The company is currently undergoing aggressive growth and expansion and is looking for a mid to senior level German compliance executive/specialist to work out of its London office.

The successful candidate will be involved in the day-to-day operation of the Group’s Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting function, ensuring that the Group’s activities, Board of Directors, Executive Committee and employees are in continuing compliance with the rules and regulations of the UK and German regulator.  The role will specifically focus on the compliance of the Group with regards to BaFin regulations, particularly in the context of the Group’s BaFin portfolio management licence.  It is therefore essential that candidates possess in depth knowledge in this area.

 

Who we are looking for

You will have extensive experience in global markets and a thorough understanding of regulations and risks affecting the Company, particularly in relation to BaFin and Portfolio Management. You should also be fluent in German and English.

Additionally:

  • Retail finance experience (specifically CFDs/FX/social trading)
  • Previous mid/senior level compliance experience
  • Well connected within the CFD/FX industry (specifically in relation to industry developments, news etc.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory guidance, rules and procedures
  • Excellent communication ability at all levels of seniority (verbal and written)
  • Leadership experience/strategic thinking

  • Highly numerate and IT literate

The Role:

  • Implement changes in response to BaFin (and FCA and ESMA generally) regulatory updates as and when required, advising the business in the process;
  • Liaise with legal/regulatory consultants to ensure ongoing compliance in non-UK/DE jurisdictions (particularly China, Spain and Singapore);
  • Effective compliance monitoring of branch and principal offices;
  • Preparation of periodic compliance reports to the Board and Executive Committee;
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Group and BaFin;
  • Ongoing review of ICAAP and other process documentation;
  • Involvement in all compliance activities, including:
    • Customer due diligence/KYC
    • AML
    • Suspicious Activity and Transaction Reporting
    • EMIR/MiFIR transaction reporting
    • Financial promotions
    • Personal account dealing
    • Complaints
  • Internal training of staff in respect of regulatory/compliance issues;
  • Maintain and enhance existing procedures – generating clear policy documentation where required;
  • Maintain and enhance existing Compliance Monitoring Program.
