Interim Chief Executive Officer
Mark Street has more than thirty years experience in financial markets in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and has held senior managerial positions in a range of well known global investment banks such as UBS and Soc. Gen, as well as working for domestic institutions in the Middle East. He has restructured and started up institutional and retail businesses, and has a successful track record as a "change agent" and business developer.
Since 2013 he has been an advisor to ayondo, and has been involved in capital raising and business development, with a particular focus in Asia.
Chief Financial Officer
Sean joined ayondo in July 2018. He has a wealth of experience and his most recent role was as Head of UK Finance & Risk at emerging-market investment bank, Renaissance Capital.
He also has extensive international experience, having held various finance leadership positions in South Africa, Russia and Europe. These include CFO of BCS Prime Brokerage, CFO of investment boutique Hartmann Capital, Finance Director at retail UK foreign currency provider FX Currency Services, CFO of a large industrial holding company with assets in emerging markets, Group Financial Controller at the IDB Prebon (now Tullett Prebon) and before that finishing his nine-year career at Mars Incorporated as Head of Finance, Africa. Sean is a UK ACA (ex-PwC).
Chief Operating Officer
Edward joined ayondo markets at its inception in 2008.
Through the establishing of internal risk management systems, he was instrumental in the removal of the negative debit obligation at ayondo. Edward brings over 15 years of experience in the spread betting and CFD industry.
After graduating from Durham University where he studied chemistry, Edward started his city career at IG Group before moving on to Cantor Fitzgerald where he was responsible for the Options and Financial Fixed Odds trading operation of Cantor Index. He has extensive experience in the creation and development of pricing and risk management tools and is key to ayondo’s fully automated risk management system.
Chief Product Officer
Raza joined ayondo markets Limited in April 2016. He leads the group’s product strategy, the centerpiece of ayondo’s growth, and drives the vision, development and execution of the product offering across all lines of the business.
His Bachelor degree in Pure Mathematics and an MBA from IESE Business School gave him an excellent foundation to thrive in businesses that challenged the establishment.
He started as a business consultant, working internationally with telecoms companies across the EU and LatAm, during one of the most disruptive phases that the industry has experienced.
He also worked as a Strategy Planning and Revenue Management Director for the successful, low-cost carrier Vueling Airlines, before moving on to become the founder and CEO of Spanish leading broker Activotrade. There he led the strategy of the company and forged key alliances with global brokers and banks to ensure the successful development of several client services.
Chief Talent Officer
Angela joined ayondo full time in September 2016, having previously been a Non-Executive Director for ayondo since February 2011.
She is an experienced corporate/commercial solicitor, qualifying in 1996. Angela undertook litigation work before moving into corporate and intellectual property work. After almost 20 years experience in private practice, Angela left to undertake Non-Executive Director and business mentoring roles to a range of small to medium size companies.
As Chief Talent Officer, Angela is responsible not just for human resources, but also for recruiting, nurturing and retaining ayondo’s talented employees. She is also ayondo’s General Counsel, handling legal matters for the group.
Chief Business Development Officer
Mita joined ayondo in June 2018. She brings with her a wealth of experience in the Asian Finance Industry, being a former Senior Vice President at the Singapore Exchange.
During her 14 years at SGX, Mita headed up several divisions and was responsible for the ownership and management of post-listings services offered to SGX's listed companies retail and institutional investors and the management of the organisation's strategy, business development and M&A portfolios. Prior to SGX, Mita was part of the founding management team at a technology start-up in Silicon Valley, California. Her career also includes sales and marketing roles with global corporations in Asia and the U.S and functional responsibilities for the development and launch of new products and services.
Mita holds a Master's Degree from Harvard University, USA.
As Chief Business Development Officer, Mita is also responsible for the Investor Relations strategy of the group.
